Logitech G Australia has announced a new partnership with The Federation of United Schools Esports (FUSE) Cup, an international network of schools connected in providing young students with an opportunity to participate in a safe, supportive and structured national esports competition.

The FUSE Cup aims to help students develop positive gaming behaviours and digital wellbeing.

Followed by its inaugural success in 2020, The FUSE Cup will return with esports competitions for schools across the Asia Pacific region with three age divisions – Year 5&6, Year 7&8, and Year 9&10. Each participating team will have the opportunity to compete in three competitions in their division this year.

“Logitech G has always worked hand-in-hand with esports teams and grassroot communities. We’re excited to take this next step into the Asia Pacific region and to inspire the next generation of esports players,” Logitech Australia senior category portfolio manager Daniel Hall says.

The FUSE Cup chief operating officer Dan Martinez says it has been big fans of the Logitech G gear and its support of esports around the world: We are thrilled to be working with their team who share our values on inclusivity and accessibility for all students. It therefore goes without saying that we are so excited by this partnership and look forward to welcoming Logitech G into our LIVE and online events.”

Participating schools in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Melbourne, Lismore and Sydney will be hosting the competitions on campus while online community events and competitions will be conducted for all schools outside these cities.

The competitions will lead up to The FUSE Esports Masters held in November 2021. This is an exciting opportunity for esports enthusiasts and emerging fans to celebrate the next generation of gamers in the region.
