For a tropical ale, the Burleigh Twisted Palm doesn’t punch you in the face with fruity flavours. This perfectly complements how the brewery describes it: “deliciously laid-back”.
At the beach, eating some fish and chips and sippin’ on a tropical pale is possibly one of the best Sunday afternoons I’ve ever had. It has very citrusy aromatics with a touch of papaya.
This is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had in my life. Big call I know.
But for someone who isn’t a pale ale fan, this drink is wonderful, different and not too bitter at all. I would recommend it on a hot day, the hotter the better.
